We are hiring for the Propane Sales Team:

Questions:

  1. This position is remote and you can work from anywhere with a good environment to take calls and good internet access but it is full time. Are you able to take calls full time and move into a 35-40 hour per week role?

  1. Knowing what you know about Propane, the team and our PropaneBusiness programme, why do you think you’d be a good fit to work on the sales team? 

  1. Have you taken sales calls on Zoom / phone before?
    1. If yes - what did you sell, at what price, what was your close rate?
    2. If no - what makes you feel you’d be good at the role given no direct experience?

  1. How much have you spent on education / mentorship in total?

 

  1. What situation stresses you out the most? 

  1. When you feel stressed, how do you cope with it?

  1. What do you feel is your biggest strength and your biggest weakness?

  1. You’re in a meeting and we suggest a strategy that you think is completely wrong, what do you do? 

  1. Imagine you’ve been on a call with a prospect for longer than normal, nearly 90 minutes, they’re about to process the payment to join the programme and seem really excited to start…at the last minute they say they’re unsure and want to sleep on it. What do you do?

  1. Imagine you’re overrunning on a call that you think is going to sign up and you have a full day of calls after. What do you do to ensure you still make the sale but nothing gets missed and no calls are wasted?

  1. Imagine you’re on the sales team and performing well, you notice that one of the other members is underperforming, they’re unusually quiet and disengaged. How do you handle the situation?
