Business coaching needs implementation time as well as time to attend sessions. If your calendar has room only for watching lessons, the plan will compete with the work you already do every week.
Before joining a programme, map where the implementation will happen. The useful question is not whether you are motivated now, but whether you can protect the work when a client cancels, a gym shift changes or an ordinary busy week arrives.
Count your existing commitments first
Put coaching delivery, employment, family commitments and essential administration into the calendar. Use a recent real week rather than an ideal week.
Look for repeatable work periods. A reliable short session is more useful than an ambitious block you regularly cancel. Leave room for the fact that unfamiliar tasks take longer than expected.
Give each session an output
"Work on my business" is difficult to finish. "Write the first offer draft using five client conversations" gives the session a defined result.
Keep a longer list of everything you could do, then select a small closed list for the current week. Do not let every new idea become another commitment. Finishing the next required step matters more than collecting possible improvements.
Separate learning, doing and feedback
These are different activities. Watch the relevant lesson, apply it to your business, and bring the resulting work for review. Rewatching a module can feel productive while postponing the uncomfortable part of testing it.
Ask your coach what "ready for review" looks like. A rough but complete page can generate better feedback than a polished opening paragraph with no offer beneath it.
Plan for interruptions
Choose what will happen when you miss a session. Reschedule the priority task and reduce lower-priority work instead of doubling the next day's list. If the same interruption keeps recurring, change the plan rather than relying on more willpower.
For Propane, confirm the current participation expectations and support arrangements before enrolling. Your available time should fit the work you are committing to, not just the length of the programme.
The free training can help you see the main tasks before you decide how they fit into your week.
